Soho Decatur

Bridging the physical gap between New York and Atlanta for its first 3 years, Soho Decatur is the production duo of Julian Boykins and Khalil Flemming. Basing its sounds in hip hop, R&B, and electronic themes, the pair offers a sound reminiscent of their roots in the 90’s while exploring the aesthetics of contemporary genres and movements. Their debut singles feature verses and hooks from each, while their current output dives deeper into Julian’s signature production sounds and Khalil’s sound design journey. While the debut album, End of Season, blended in inspiration from jazz and bossanova, the upcoming SAUDE EP will reflect something more reflective of the duo’s core sound. The project is driven by spacious and light synth melodies painted over a foundation of deep, immersive bass lines.
